No. The file is sent directly to Bento's configured transcription provider for this request and is not written to Bento storage. The result stays in your browser until you leave or reload the page.

Can I paste a YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or X link?

Use Bento's matching YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok transcript tool for a public social-video URL. This audio converter remains the best choice for a supported file you already have.

Which files work?

The first release accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, WebM audio, OGG, FLAC, and AAC files up to 12 MB. The file picker is limited to audio because this endpoint does not transcode or extract video audio.
